Another day another round of Porsche 991 Turbo spyphotos. These latest pictures show the final Winter testing undergoing completion. Current expected output from the 991 Turbo is in the 530-550 horsepower range of course mated to all wheel drive and featuring a 7-speed PDK but a 7-speed manual will also be optional. In the video below from December of last year the 991 Turbo sure looks ready for business so the question becomes, when do we see it?

There are some major auto shows in the pipeline with Geneva coming up in March. That seems a bit early for a debut so Frankfurt in September likely makes the most sense. Then again, Porsche may split the 991 Turbo and 991 GT3 debuts. Either way, from all the photos and Nurburgring testing, this car seems just about ready to be shown to the world. The only question is when Porsche decides to do it.

As a 997 turbo owner I am happy to see how minor the design changes are here. It looks almost like a 997 with an aftermarket exhaust and wing. Its not like having a E92 and seeing the new 4-series pictures

True, Porsche is very evolutionary. But... at least you don't feel immediately outdated
