    • 997.1 Turbo + GT30's + E85 + Cobb = 870 wheel horsepower

The title perhaps oversimplifies things but the result on this Porsche 997.1 Turbo is 870 horsepower and 777 lb-ft of torque at the wheels. Note, that is not to all four wheels but this car is being dyno'd in a rear wheel drive setup.

It is a ton of power and torque regardless. The motor is built by AIM Performance in New Jersey. Tuning is through the Cobb AP and an upgraded fuel system provides 100% E85.

When it comes to easily making big power and torque in a Porsche turbo model and running E85, the Mezger motors still rule the day.

To my knowledge the mezgers weren't direct injection which makes the whole fueling issue MUCH easier to solve...case in point...100% E85 beast

If only they ever overlapped the mezger with the PDK....now THAT would be the tuner car to have...a race motor with a race transmission...

I wonder if they will ever make PDK swap kits......

WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY do people nonstop post a dyno graph with both $#@!ing Axis cut off? It has to be on purpose! So annoying, just move your phone back 1 inch, and give everyone the whole story...Click here to enlarge

if you click on the picture to expand it you can barely see the power/torque go just past 7K rpm....tough to see and i agree...

I did click it, and let me be clear. Not saying BS to the numbers. These cars make this power with these upgrades no problem. I am a huge fan of these cars. I just hate when people post a graph with the axis cut off.

Mostly because instead of doing a proper post they just do a cell phone pic...

ES Motor swapped a Mezger motor into a 991 with their ES2k Package, but it's running a Syvecs + Sequential trans setup. It's nice to get the raw Mezger power into the modern 911.
