The PDK obviously is the choice for performance which is what the GT2 RS is all about. You better believe it will perform as the car is expected to drop a few hundred pounds compared to the 911 Turbo and also gain power. How much power? Over 700 horsepower is expected.
Now, that is obviously a ton in a rear wheel drive setup and Porsche did at one point state the 991 GT2 would not come due to traction issues. First of all, traction is overrated. Secondly, this is a rear engine car with 315mm or larger tires in back. The traction complaints are overblown with today's rubber and traction control systems. If a Z06 can exist, so can a GT2.
Bring it on Porsche. It's time to remind the world what the 911 is capable of.
