    • Mcchip-DKR 2018 Porsche 911 GTS (991.2) 3.0 Stage I ECU tuning results - 80+ horsepower gains

Now that the troublesome 991.2 SDI21 ECU is cracked tuning is commencing from a variety of sources. Those sources for the most part are European for now as the crack originated in Europe.

Mcchip-DKR is one of those European sources tuning the 9A2B6 3.0 motor and they got a 991.2 GTS on their SuperFlow dyno. Mcchip-DKR previously did not release graphs for their 991.2 tuning claims so it is great to see actual dyno results from them on the platform:

The GTS model obviously has larger turbos and comes in a higher state of tune compared to the S and base 991.2's.

It still has plenty of headroom though as illustrated. They are getting another 80 horsepower and according to the graph 100 lb-ft of torque or so. The peak torque figure posted is 481 lb-ft but the delta is what we are focusing on.

We will need to see these cars on American dynos for further context but rest assured there is plenty to gain with the 991.2 GTS turbochargers over the factory output.

Image above i found online, another superflow dyno to stay consistent, looks like a stage 1 tune 991 Turbo S....

Tune only GTS looks really good....a FBO GTS would be at stock 991 Turbo levels....in a lighter RWD package...

Something else that is interesting. Here is a dyno with the piggyback for the 991.2 base before they went with ECU tuning. Will be interesting to see their new graph on the base car:
