Honda will return to Formula 1 as engine supplier - Mclaren-Honda

Formula 1 changing to the 1.6 liter turbo V6 apparently has Honda's attention as they are returning to F1 but only as an engine supplier. Honda builds amazing motors so it will be interesting to see how they do. It will also be interesting to see how McLaren does with this.

Honda left F1 at the end of 2008, but has been tempted back to the sport by the new 2014 1.6-litre turbocharged V6 engine rules.   The firm confirmed in a statement that it has already begun development of its all-new 1.6-litre turbocharged V6 Formula 1 engine, working out of its R&D facility in Tochigi, Japan.

The team will be renamed McLaren Honda.

"For everyone that works for the company, the weight of our past achievements lies heavily on our shoulders," said McLaren boss Martin Whitmarsh . "It's a partnership synonymous with success."

McLaren and Honda won 44 grands prix and eight world championship titles in the 1980s and 1990s.

Honda's decision to return under the new 1.6 turbo rules is expected to further underline the firm's growing commitment to developing high-performance turbocharged engines for its road cars in the future. It already campaigns a 1.6-litre turbocharged engine in the World Touring Car Championship.

Shocking Ferrari crash

This occurred in late April during the Ferrari racing days at the famed Suzuka circuit. Driver Shigeru Terajima was driving his yellow 458 when something went very wrong on the front straight. The car spears right after pit out, hitting the safety barrier. The car basically disintegrated.

Poll - $30K price range, fun cars

Hey BB,

Totally testing the waters here, but im really starting to get bored of my 335i....

So,
for around $30k, what fun/sports car would you buy? Mileage has to be under 60k and it can not be too un-DD-able (example: stripped interior turbo S2K wont work), and i cant buy a bike (which is my absolute top choice, but for family reasons, its a no go....)

Some cars ive considered:
-Mustang GT
-Corvette (Base model or GS if i can find it)
-STI/EVO

Are there any fun AMGs or Audis at the $30k range? If i did swap cars, it has to be a car with similar performance (or potential) to the 335i.... So give me your choices!

Very faint rattle in the cabin...

I just recently had my front windshield replaced, and now there is a faint rattle coming from the front of the car. It happens at all ranges of speeds but always sounds the same. I didn't have my windshield replaced by MB but the company that replaced my WS is retarded so how do I go about diagnosing this without sending it to MB and getting charged an arm and a leg? Any ideas?
