" Here is the BMW Gran Lusso Coupe concept with styling courtesy of the famed Pininfarina Italian design house. The coupe is definitely striking in design with led taillights across the the rear of the car and BMW i8 inspired headlights. The squinted headlights, big grille, and front bumper give the car a sort of facial expression. It's an interesting styling take and definitely different while at the same time feeling very BMW. However, this is not Pininfarina's most beautiful work.

With a twin turbo V12 borrowed from the 7-Series under the hood the car definitely will have some power. And likely quite a bit of heft as well. This is the closest concept we to what a modern 8-Series would look like that we have ever received from BMW.

Do not expect the 8 to come back, this is just a one-off for fun apparently. Pictures and press release below.
