inlineS54B32 replied to the thread Article: So remember how the new 2015 F80 M3 was supposed to be much lighter than the E90 M3? It isn't. Curb weight measured at 3562 pounds.
" That's pretty cool - I am glad they ended up using a Lithium Ion battery - that's cool. Since the battery is usually at the extreme ends of the car, weight removed from these areas is important - and 30 lbs is a decent amount. I can feel the difference in my M3 when it's filled with luggage, and am assuming a heavy battery farther back in a single corner even makes more difference.

That's cool - but the total number is BS, and again - heads need to roll. "

With the issues you've endured i am sure you know what its like to be away from your car (a quick car) for a period of time. When that happens you forget what its like to be in something that is fast. Now look at @Sticky situation... Sticky hasn't been in a fast car in like 10 years, I'm sure the TT M3 felt like a rocket... "

That would be awesome because I find FB groups more active and easier to use. The only downside to a FB group is that you can't search for previous posts. "

V8Bait replied to the thread BBFlash maps for the FBO 335i.
" As aggressive as the stage 1 tunes already are just add timing slowly to the high load areas and you'd likely be in a good place... maybe adjust wastegate control tables slightly, but stage 1 boost is plenty high for the turbos already imo. Datalog and make sure you don't get any timing drops. I've done this a handful of times for local guys, many dislike the vishnu throttle mapping anyway so it pays to not use the OTS stuff directly. " Thanks for response. I thought he was using the tial mvr 44 and it has -4an ports in the actuator for coolant. I had researched them as I was thinking of building my own st kit. Probably going Vargas Stage 3 but still haven't made up my mind yet. One way or another I'm going larger turbo/turbos in the near future. "

Witty -

I like your reference to a spherical ball bearing ;-)

The explanation for the noise is in the link I provided above in post 23 .
