" Not yet doing a few things like cleaning up the welds making the intake to head gasket better just gotta make the kit a little better the price for the kit is so expensive for the quality of it but at least there's something to work off of and make it better no way in hell am I going to use the stock fuel injectors the guy says you can but I say no I drag race a 11sec turbo car and fuel is everything you run lean kiss the engine goodbye I'm gonna run 32lb injectors a guy from ess tuning told me the car will run fine as long as I use bigger injectors and the FCD on the mass air sensor "

Definitely considering the press release. Maybe they couldn't find a DSG to use a mock up? Who knows. "

Sticky replied to the thread Article: So remember how the new 2015 F80 M3 was supposed to be much lighter than the E90 M3? It isn't. Curb weight measured at 3562 pounds.
" I saw that. They picked the heaviest E9X they could aside from an E93.

Due to the carbon roof it makes more sense to compare to an E92 with a carbon roof as well to minimize variables but you're going to see these cars vary depending on how they are optioned.

However you look at it are there lighter E92's? Yep. Is the F80/F82 as light as BMW claimed? Not even close. "

" "Axis of Oversteer also recently had a E90 M3 on the same scale and it weighed in a 3736 lbs (fully optioned, DCT, full tank, no driver) - 174 lbs heavier than the F80 M3 (3562 lbs). "

From that other forum's coverage of this same article. I've heard DCT vs manual is around 80-90lbs so the F80 is definitely lighter, but not by that much.

" I doubt it but maybe she just likes it? A lot of old people buy cars just based on price. The 'AMG' model must be better because it's more expensive but they don't necessarily understand why it is more expensive. "

E50, but the E85 here is sometimes more than E85 at the Shell stations that I frequent based on recent testing done by member @BoostAddict who is a local, and works on my car.

I was thinking of just upping the scalar area of concern for bank 2. Previously I had gotten a mixture code out of the blue but it never came back, so I upped the scalar on both banks as suggested by @SteveAZ . Bank 1 looks better than before but now that I am seeing bank 2 for the first time I see the reason I got the mixture code previously "

And in this interview he's saying some very true things about people's motives to their reactions.
Right...so he's making excuses for the sound, and talking about carbon footprint...again two things I really don't give shit about. If you think F1 is helping the environment by being just a little more efficient you are as retarded as Al Gore. F1 is and should be about pure performance, not fuel efficiency, if this is the road F1 decides to go down, then it's only a matter of time till a better series of racing comes about. I really hope F1 changes the rules next year and does something this year yet to improve the racing. Keep the engines for this year, fine, but but lets not be so skimp on the fuel...that's just ridiculous.

I listened to enough to know that is the basis of what he thinks. In other words, he's a liberal nutjob snob that's been around F1 so long he thinks he is the sport. I'm sorry, but I don't see how this guy loves motorsports any more than me or many others on this forum just cause he's been around F1 for 48 years.

That's like saying Barack Obama has been in politics longer than me so he respects the Oval Office more than I do...REALLY? "
