" Ok guys just got off the phone. Basically, a company many of you know is providing a new clutch basket with more clutch discs. They have built some insane setups that hold a ton of power (and more than I will ever make) for the GTR so there is no reason to be concerned. The holdup really was them testing drivability on their own M3 which they are now happy with.

So, the discs and basket are coming in soon and that's it. We turn up the boost to the max and... judgement day. I'm looking forward to seeing jaws drop.

This setup will handle far more power and torque than my blower is capable of producing and was initially developed with something else in mind but I'm getting it first. What that means is it will be good for the built motor twin turbo M3 setups and the major HP they push.

Just a week or two and it's officially over. "

" That's why the SL55k is having continuous dyno run tests and file updates to see where the issues lie. Not just the 55k but also the 63 NA cars also low on torque

I'm confident in 575+rwhp but hoping to match my 609rwtq

I'll keep you posted and thanks for the reply "

My EC Stage 3 runs 530rwhp and 609rwtq which is pretty good. I drive on the Autobahn every 2 weeks for 600miles so torque is what's required, not 1/4 mile bursts.
The issue the UK Weistecs are having is they are very low on torque. The M113K ones are at around 530rwtq which is a long way off the quoted 615rwtq. The quoted 575rwhp is spot on the money and with a bit more fine tuning of the map should be nearer the 600rwhp mark.

Heating issues are also a problem. Unless you have split cooling, Killer Chiller and Meth it seems you will also have issues after just one or two WOT runs

If Weistec are online over the next few days it would be interesting to hear your thoughts although I know Acid (UK) is in contact with you guys on a daily basis

I'll post some dyno graphs up with IAT's etc once the build is complete

And I just want to point out I have no desire to ever add compatibility. Cobb users should use the AP, period. Cobb also provides great support. "

atomos319 created the thread Could my intermittent bank one oxgen sensor problems be caused by a tuning issue?.
" I have been getting a persistent 2c3d code (PreCat 02 sensor lines/wires, Bank 1) on my 335i running a custom Wedge tune. Now I am getting a 2c77 intermittently as well (AfterCat 02 sensor signal, Bank 1)

I have replaced BOTH of these sensors in the last six months- it made no difference.

I cannot for the life of me figure out what it could be other than (1) something in the tune my car disagrees with or (2) the actual engine wiring harness.

Is theory # 1 even plausible? I did notice when I went back to the original map for about a week the code didn't generate. But, to be fair I have gotten similar "false reassurances that all is well" while tuned since then as well. Critically the code seems to generate more frequently while engine braking.

If if it could be a wiring issue, are there any diagrams on what wires to look at? Replacing the whole harness is at least 1k, and simply do not have it right now. "

I would say one Full day, or two days at the most.

Will it be similar to RB since it is a bottom mount kit? or it is too soon to tell? "

You can thank fantasy football for that. The average fan has become inundated with a desire for 24/7 metrics and "analysis". Even when said analysis is completely lacking in actual, ya know, analysis.

There are def. benefits though. "

Its pretty cool, they're saying (from what i've read) they're not doing it like hard knocks, but they're doing it more from the sidelines, really trying to show what its like in Pre Season camps, staying out of the way, and more action, less drama. "

Second, I'm gonna need new head studs. My head flanges are 3/8" thick so ill probably just need studs that are that much longer. Any suggestions?
the heater element needs to stay plugged in or your waterpump will stay on wayyyy longer than necessary on shut down. I kept mine in that part of the pcv hose, and cut the heater element housing piece down so it was round and then ran a hose from it to the turbo intake filter. It keeps your pcv system in tact and keeps the heater element functioning. Pm me if you want pics for better details. "
