" The Ferrari forced induction landscape is rather small. There are not many cars produced to begin with and it is not exactly easy to tune something like a 458 Italia for a forced induction setup. Most owners also are not going to tinker with their Ferrari. UGR (Underground Racing) is really the only company with results on the platform up to this point.
So, enter Hennessey who as usual makes bold claims but with little substance. The pictures and videos certainly show what is a twin turbocharged 458. There is a short video that shows the car doing a WOT burst and it certainly sounds turbocharged. So where is the dynograph especially when one of the videos shows the car on a dyno?
In Hennessey's defense UGR has not provided a graph either for their twin turbo kit which they claim puts out 700 wheel horsepower. However, UGR has built up a very solid reputation with their work in the Lamborghini world. Hennessey's reputation does not get the benefit of the doubt to say the least.
Regardless, Hennessey claims 738 horsepower along with 532 lb-ft of torque for the kit. He also claims a 10.5 @ 137 mile per hour quarter mile which just like the horsepower claim is unsubstantiated. It is nothing more than an educated guess as a 458 Italia with a couple turbos should easily be capable of that performance and then some. "
