    335i vs srt4

    Raced a big turbo neon the other day pulled by about 4-5 cars from a 40 roll an about 3 cars from a 60 roll because he go the hit.

    mods to my car are:
    jb4 g5 iso map 5 50/50 e85 93
    vrsf downpipes and intercooler
    dci
    straight pipes
    full weight

    his car has a big single 30r injectors e85 exhaist intercooler and im not sure what else he says it makes 450whp

    Turbo lag is the on ramp to the highway which is power.

    Good runs man. Unfortunately I can't say the car was even making 400 whp the way you saw it. Definitely far away from 450

    I was about to say... 450 whp on the srt4 and it would have been a bus length or two for the 335.

    Yeah its being fixed so it wil be back up to speed next week or so for a proper run. Backside of turbo manifold came undone; lost the gasket and some bolts+nuts. $#@! happens though

    Oh and the car was on it's street tire setting. It didn't make 450 whp on that boost level (a little north of 430 whp..but with the way it was running I'd say it was really 350-380 max that evening lol).

    Good win..... How is the straight pipe setup going? I tried the straight pipe setup a couple months ago and couldn't stand the rasp around 2500rpm there was stuff in the cabin shaking.

    straight pipes are good lol they are $#@!ing loud but its not hard to adapt and around town it doesnt sound like the other cars but its not stupid loud

    Good for you for getting used to them and keeping them on. I tried the whole straight pipe mod and it was too loud and since I take clients out for meetings and lunch I had to put the stock system back on for now haha.

    The 335i and srt4 raced today. Their were a total of 3 races. The first was a mis start i dont think the srt4 heard the 3 honks got a late start and let off. The second race 3 honks decent start and the srt4 pulled the 335i leaving the 335i at its rear bumper. The third race 3 honks good start and it was very even up until i had to let off due to traffic.

    over all good races i guess the srt4 was down on some power in previous match ups....

    his video doesn't tell the whole story...It cuts out before the end and doesn't get the run where I throttled his car in 4th gear with a full tank and a 215 lb passenger on the same low boost. (details left out). But that's ok.

    BT SRT-4s are nasty from a roll when built properly. Suck from a dig like most big power FWD cars.
