Z06 on drag radials vs 335i street tires 1/4 mile
This was a no times event. I cant remember what i ran on this pass but it was 12.05 or 12.08
I asked the Zo6 to run me, it was a manual tranny and yes prob could use the driver mod, he and his friends kinda laughed at me when i pointed at my sedan. Oh well i laughed last, he didnt run me again and never said anything after the race.
Im assuming he ran around 12.2-12.5- Proven Power Tampa built 6466 ST - Vargas Head Flanges - Vargas HPFP Upgrade -

C5 Zed6 makes around 375-85rwhp stock... Low 12's to High 11's on DR's is common. Good run
We stay swingin...

Nice run! the 01 z06's were rated at 385 crank hp, while the 02-04's were stated as 405.
Theres a local guy with an 03 c5 z06 that has all the bolt ons that i have done comparision runs with often. each time i have beat him and been ahead when we both shut down, but each time he is closer. he keeps doing different stuff like trying to shift faster and adding mt et streets. he just got a new clutch and some other stuff, so i assume he'd be pretty close or ahead of me by the end of our runs lol. from a dig, i'd have a tough time i'd imagine, so you did really well taking him from a dig at a vht prepped track it looks like!

I've had too much practice in my car lol. on nitto invos (street tires) I consistently cut 1.76-1.85 60fts some people's jaws might drop when I upgrade to the G5 and throw some ET streets on some d force 17x9s lol

Perfect! do you kno if i can fit 17X9 all the way around with out fender rolling (im stock height) and will i need spacers, if so how many. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I plan to run invos up front with a lil more height to keep overall diameter the same and ET streets rear with more sidewall as well to keep the same diameter.- Proven Power Tampa built 6466 ST - Vargas Head Flanges - Vargas HPFP Upgrade -

Well i've been slammed on kw coilovers and now run eibach suspension. Im about to go back to stock too (crappy dmv roads blowing my struts out), but on all these setups there hasnt been any rubbing except in the front right wheelwell, the wheel does rub on the frame of the oil cooler if i turn the steering wheel all the way to the left. I also have to run a 5mm spacer up front so that the inner part of the 18x9 wheels dont hit the front struts. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Nothing better than a sedan kicking ass at the track, especially against Vettes. I don't know why but most Vette guys are huge douchebags. FWIW I did meet a really cool C5 guy with bolt ones who runs 10.8x constantly with 1.4x 60fts, crazy. I love to pound Zo6 guys

yeah it seems like the ones I meet and talk to before the runs end up being cool and interested in the car, but the ones that get caught off guard can be mean to me
