If LM doesn't want to post it on GTBoard for you I can.. Honestly the M3 section doesn't get too much traffic. M5 & M6 owners seem to be the majority of users. The E39 M5 section typically has as many active members as the E60 and E63 M5/6 combined.. Lol. I honestly most people would see it in the E60 area.. Click here to enlarge

I dont know...camaro is fast for sure, but the 50whp and weight advantage should have canceled out the torque advantage the camaro had..maybe that M3 isnt running right

Since when do 625 kits make 570whp?
Since people started playing dyno number games to show how strong their kit is instead of actually running it.

By FAR the lowest knowledge level of any BMW forum. And don't mention you beat an M5 with an M3, members heads explode.

Maybe the 625 badge is a bit underrated? Remember, this M3 has a exhaust as well. But still, I am not an expert in M cars. Did a little searching and found out 625 kits putting down 550whp to 580whp, depending on the supporting mods. IDK...

Cause this is an "ESS-related thread", figured I'd share with everyone that M3Post Mods just deleted someone's personal thread of their E92 M3 getting the VF650 installed at Rogue Engineering (NJ).... Guessing it was cause RE doesn't sponsor M3Post & it wasn't an ESS kit

ESS VT2-625 supercharged E92 M3 with claimed 570 wheel horsepower at 7.5 psi beaten by heads/cam/intake/exhaust Camaro SS with 520 wheel horsepower

Very surprising race here with an ESS VT2-625 supercharged M3 taken down by an all motor LS3 Camaro SS. On paper, this race should easily go the M3's way considering it is claimed to have 570 wheel horsepower at 7.5 psi and also being the significantly lighter car. 570 wheel with a dual clutch transmission is good for 130 MPH trap speeds which a 520 wheel Camaro SS won't match. More power, less weight, dual clutch trans, the M3 should win rather easily. So what gives?

The Camaro SS with the LS3 naturally aspirated V8 has modified heads, a cam, intake, and exhaust said to be good for around 520 wheel horsepower.

BimmerBoost has no explanation other than the M3 likely not making the power claimed (it's easier to race on a dyno than in the real world) and possibly not having the right pulley either. Recently a BimmerBoost forum member stated they had a different pulley shipped with their ESS kit than they should have so it's possible this M3 owner isn't making the horsepower or boost they thought they were. The M3 is also said to be a DCT so how a dual clutch car making more power, shifting faster, and with less weight can lose is beyond reason unless the Camaro has more going on than he is letting on (nitrous).

So you are telling me that heavy ass camaro with 520whp vs the lighter M3 with DCT and 570whp is faster than the ///M? Wtf?
    Exactly, impossible.

Torque... That LS has boat loads of it from most every rpm especially down low. The M3 while efficient does not have the Tq to move it down low. DCT helps it not get destroyed and you can clearly see the nose lift on each run on the M3 he is WOT even jumps a slight bit. But tq moves you and that's a great display in what tq does for a car. HP is nice for damn sure but Tq down low and in the mid range is hard to beat. Great run and the M looks the business. Feels local for some reason.
There's this thing called gearing or else diesels would rule roll on races.

No, there is no nitrous. I even put the engine bay shots of the camaro in the vid as well. I will be dialing a 200 shot in a month or so tho... You can find all the info about the car in this link:

    http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=258632

    Yep
What does this car run in the 1/4? The traps speeds won't be near a supercharged DCT M3, it makes no sense. The car is also way heavier.

Exactly, the Camaro is a slow ass heavy car and even supercharged ones on stock internals aren't beating blown DCT M3's.

Let them have their dyno sheet racing fun. This is what happens when you don't make the power you like to claim you do to sell kits to idiot fanboys on forums.

    Hi Andrew,

What is it that you mean by spikes? The torque curve seems pretty flat, not sure if I am missing something here.
Spike at peak due to the throttle bodies closing, that is why you get inflated power figures.
