That's all, and truth be told I don't love challengers, I don't love any American car. But I do respect their capabilities, plain and simple.
    This.

It's a nice car. Different strokes for different folks. The motor is pretty awesome and I'm glad Dodge made it.

Yes, the Mustang GT is cheaper with about the same speed but it's also a solid rear axle. Yes, the ZL1 is faster.

So what? That makes this a pos? We might as well just start evaluating cars based on acceleration numbers for the dollar then.

I thought you knew M3s and were a joke because a a GT500 is faster stock for less money?

Oh yeah I'm a retard because the GT500 is cheaper and faster out of the box. Clearly the M3 is a POS.

the Zl1 is faster? You mean the SS is faster, or about the same peformance wise. What does the SRT8 offer that a fully loaded SS doesn't? Higher price tag? More weight and less aftermarket support? What about a 5.0 GT premium? The car is an absolute waste of money....if you really like the appearance of the car that much better....wait...no...you're an idiot if you spend the coin on one plain and simple. There is no logical reason to purchase one.

M3...track ready luxury car...GT500....still expensive and only quicker in straight line....this was such an awful comparison....the M3 is a better car in every way except straight line performance which is NOT the reason you buy an //M car...however it IS the reason you buy an american muscle car and not only is the SRT8 let alone any challenger or Charger awful in a straight line...it has no other attributes to help make up for it....

What? The ZL1 has the LSA. What are you talking about?

The LS3 is about the same performance wise so you aren't talking smack on it because the 5.0 in the GT beats up on it?

Mopar offers excellent aftermarket support and once again the Hemi V8's are great mod platforms. The Mustang once again is a solid rear axle car and everyone has one.

The Challenger styling is great. It's a different option. Why is someone stupid for buying it?

Yet straightline performance is the reason you buy the Challenger and why you are saying it sucks?

Um you can buy a car for more than just straightline performance. I really don't think everyone buying a Challenger is doing so because they intend to have the fastest car in the world. If you want even more power you can get it.

Is it the highest performing car in its segment? No. Does that make someone an idiot for buying one? No.

Obviously the ZL1 is faster than the SS? I'm saying the SS already outperforms the Challenger SRT8 so no need to throw the ZL1 in there. For about the same price though the Zl1 absolutely decimates the SRT8 in all aspects, including interior luxury.

Seriously? Why do you buy anything SRT if not for performance? Did you buy your //M3 for the added luxury?

Yes. I bought the M3 partially due to its refinement, luxury, and pedigree. If I was just going for performance wouldn't I have bought a Z06?

ZL1 or SS the point remains the same that it is not all about the straightline speed or raw numbers.

The Challenger is a nice ride. If one puts a premium on the numbers there are other cars as mentioned.

I bought my Maserati with the intent of drag racing, sometimes it's up to the owner to justify the needs of the car. Could I have bought something with tons more support or easier to build? Sure. But that doesn't mean I'm a retard. It means I like luxury, and like the car. I'd not knock someone for that.
    Because racecar.
