Today, 03:59 PMBowser330 commented on article American Autobahn coming to... California? Lanes with no speed limit being considered in BMW Performance - Forums, Tuning, Blog, Motorsport, and Modification NewsYou could for sure charge a nice toll fee for the ability to go 120 mph through the central valley. Its 240 miles from Bakersfield to Stockton....so that would be a 2 hour trip, pretty cool. Considering future cars will have full self driving this makes total sense to develop. It would make commuting (by car) to work up north actually do-able. Bakersfield is 113 miles from Downtown LA, so I would recommend they stretch the high speed lane all the way to Santa Clarita though to get closer to more people.7 replies | 338 view(s)

But seriously, I wish you’d stop talking about the Carrera like it’s some sort of detuned GT2 RS. Because it’s not. Throw a lot of boost and cooling at it with sticky tires and I’m sure you’ll get some respectable glory times, and I dig that. But to be talking about 9’s.... comeon.7 replies | 113 view(s)

Today, 12:06 PMWhere is the proof that he paid them to do this? I'm hoping he is an idiot and there are texts or emails regarding all of this and he withdrew the exact amount of cash etc. But if it is there word against his you can't prove he did it. You need the smoking gun. Same with the letter.5263 replies | 1541672 view(s)

Today, 09:57 AMYou can literally see the Nigerians buying masks and rope on camera... I mean, wtf is he going to deny? He’ll plea bargain once he realizes he’s fucked it’s just a matter of how many charges. The postal stuff should be the most serious.5263 replies | 1541672 view(s)

Today, 09:27 AMThe only hope is the FEDs get him for the letter. They do not fuck around. He is going to deny this to the end and people will believe him. That charge has a max 1-3 years but probation is an option. He had a DUI years ago when he lied but I bet his high powered lawyers get him probation. I hope I am wrong. he also hired an expensive PR firm, 2 things you do not do if you are innocent imo. I bet he will blame the Chicago PD and say they are racist and Hollywood will forget all about this and he will still have a career. Again, I hope I am wrong but it seems rare people from hollywood actually have the face jail time.5263 replies | 1541672 view(s)

Today, 08:47 AMSticky created an article Kratos KRAS55Bi turbochargers achieve 975 rwhp at 35 psi with E85 on built BMW F80 M3 S55 in BMW Performance - Forums, Tuning, Blog, Motorsport, and Modification NewsYou should remember the Kratos KRAS55bi S55 turbocharger upgrade from when the S55 stock internal output record was set using them. That was back in December of 2018 on an F82 M4 S55 at 32 psi of boost on E85. Well, now we have some built motor numbers and they exceed anyone's expectations. The Kratos KRAS55Bi turbos are touching just shy of 1000 rear wheel horsepower (with potential to eclipse that number). A built S55 obviously can be tuned more aggressively and torque can be ramped in harder and earlier. Graph: Notice how once spooled how well the torque curve holds until redline. Power just continues to build from 600 wheel horsepower to 975 wheel horsepower. It almost reminds you of a classic M motor curve. List Of Modifications Built Engine Stock Bore/Compression (CP Pistons/Carrillo Rods) Headgames Motorworks Cylinder Head (Please Contact Headgames For Details) ASR Engineering Intercooler ASR Engineering Heat Exchanger Intakes Catless Downpipes Dodson Sportsman Plus DCT Clutch Kit Fuel-It PI Stock Intake Manifold Stock MAP Sensor Maximum PSI Crank Hub Kit BootMod3 HCP Custom Tune KRAS55Bi Turbo System (Standard Billet Wheel Option) Pump Gas E85 (78% Via Fuel-It Sensor) Before people start criticizing for the lack of RPM on the axis: The important aspect to focus on here is how the Kratos KRAS55Bi turbo curve looks overlaid on the stock turbochargers. It is almost hard to believe how little loss in spool there is. Where is the big sacrifice for top end punch? There isn't one. The difference at redline is almost 500 whp over a tuned stock turbo setup with an ethanol blend. S55 engine pictured with Kratos inlets: It is important to focus on more than just peak figures. No doubt people will see quadruple digit numbers and the peak figure will get their attention but the area under the curve here on display here is unparalleled for the platform. They are delivering as promised and even exceeding expectations. Keep in mind these are the KRA55Bi ball bearing turbochargers and the titanium KRAS55Ti are still coming. So when will these be available? Well, you can get them next month and pre-orders will be honored first. Expect these to sell fast: PRESS RELEASE2 replies | 220 view(s)

Today, 01:12 AMSticky commented on article Dyno Spectrum takes 991.2 GT2 RS 1/4 mile record from Cobb with 9.89@139.42 pass in Porsche Performance - Forums, Tuning, Blog, Motorsport, and Modification NewsWell, overall I agree with your point. However, it depends how far you go. Eventually the AWD system will need to be beefed up while the RWD will not have as much stress. Ultimately, the engines are capable of the same thing. The GT2 RS will be the stronger roll car (without the wing) while traction off the line is the Turbo's game. I think we will see Carreras matching this...7 replies | 113 view(s)

Today, 12:00 AMSticky created an article Dyno Spectrum takes 991.2 GT2 RS 1/4 mile record from Cobb with 9.89@139.42 pass in Porsche Performance - Forums, Tuning, Blog, Motorsport, and Modification NewsGood to see some strong GT2 RS performance numbers but the dragstrip numbers tell you that magazines inflated GT2 RS performance figures. While MotorTrend has the GT2 RS Weissach package trapping 139 miles per hour in the real world it takes an ECU tune to get there. The previous record was 9.954 @ 141.43 but that was with the wing removed. As you can see in the video below, the new quicker pass was set with the wing in place. The fastest pass remains 141.43 but that would likely fall if this GT2 RS removed its wing as well. Beyond the tune the car is running race gas and catless downpipes. Regardless, 9.895 is the new quickest 1/4 mile elapsed time for the platform.7 replies | 113 view(s)

Yesterday, 11:20 PMSticky created an article THE-TUNER Audi B5 S4/RS4 high flow 2.7 bi-turbo V6 intake manifold in Audi Performance - Forums, Tuning, Blog, Motorsport, and Modification NewsYes, the B5 Audi S4 and RS4 are very old at this point but the car is a great used tuning value especially in the Audi sphere. There are a ton of parts available and all wheel drive paired to a turbo six-cylinder motor never goes out of style. Look at the difference between THE-tuner's design and the factory B5 manifold: Quite the difference right? Advantages over the original RS4 manifold: Larger and improved channel guidance Higher flow Uniform constant narrowing of the cross-section Larger modified plenum Streamlined position of the injectors Better fuel mixture formation Optionally selectable for RS4 or RS6 throttle valve They did not post any direct before/after data unfortunately but it is not hard to tell the new piece looks much more efficient.0 replies | 100 view(s)
