If going for all out power, why not just dump the exhaust out the hood? Unt & Leisson isn't messing around with this B5 S4 Avant and they are going for 1500+ horsepower. Is anyone else even close with the B5 S4's 2.7 liter V6? We don't have the full specs but we do have a 1273.9 horsepower dyno chart: This has to be the baddest Audi 2.7 V6 out there as well as the baddest B5 S4. Hopefully we get some videos of it in action soon.

The S55 motor responds very well to octane and especially ethanol. Why? Well, it's pushing a lot of boost and when tuned on race gas you really get to take advantage of the higher octane. The camera car is a 6-speed manual Pure Stage upgraded F80 M3 S55 on 91 octane pump gas. The car it runs is a DCT F80 M3 tuned on E85. It is close but you can see the camera car lose a bit on each shift but also see in gear that it pulls. What do we learn? An M3 or M4 with the Pure Turbos S55 upgrade on 91 octane pump gas can edge an M3 or M4 on an E85 tune meaning that performance is repeatable daily with far more headroom available on race gas or E85 should the owner want it.

The new 2019 Porsche 911 GT3 RS manages something no other GT3 before it ever has. That is cracking the 7-minute barrier around the Nurburgring. As a matter of fact, it is the only naturally aspirated six-cylinder production car to manage the feat. That is huge as it is not benefiting from huge power and torque like its GT2 RS big brother. The GT2 RS is 9 seconds quicker around the 'Ring and the current production car overall lap record champion. Sit down, turn up your speakers, and put the video in fullscreen mode and enjoy the GT3 RS in action. Porsche works race driver Kévin Estre set a lap time in 6:56.4 minutes with the 520-hp GT3 RS (911 GT3 RS: combined fuel consumption 12.8 l/100 km; CO2 emissions 291 g/km). The Frenchman’s lap time was 24 seconds faster than the best time achieved with the previous GT3 RS model. Porsche development driver Lars Kern was sharing driving duties with Estre. Following the 918 Spyder and the 911 GT2 RS, the new GT3 RS is the third production Porsche sports car with a notarised lap time of less than seven minutes on the world’s most demanding race track, known as the ‘Green Hell’. As is customary for record drives, the time was measured around the 20.6-kilometre lap. Frank Steffen Walliser, Vice President Motorsport and GT Cars, commented; “No other Porsche model gets as close to racing as the new GT3 RS. Many innovative ideas from top-level motorsport were transferred; for example, from the 911 GT3 R. This is what our philosophy for GT models is about: Highest technology must be fascinating but tangible. In this regard there is no harder test for our ideas than the Nordschleife.” The outstanding power of the Porsche 911 GT3 RS Andreas Preuninger, Director GT Model Line, added; “All four lap times of both drivers were below seven minutes and only tenths of a second apart. This proves not only the outstanding power of the GT3 RS, but also its extraordinary driveability at the limit. A perfectly composed overall system allows for highly dynamic performance even with a relatively modest engine power. For a driver, each of the car’s thousands of parts have to feel like one – that’s an unbeatable strength of the GT3 RS. And what especially delights me is how much fun Lars and Kévin had when driving that car.”

Doesn't seem like too many people are running aftermarket wheels. I plan on picking up a set later this year.
