    • Porsche will produce the 2019 Porsche 911 Speedster (GT3 touring convertible) as a limited edition

Porsche seemingly can not stop doing cool things. There is nothing wrong with the 911 GT3 and the only complaint anyone could make is that in the model's history you could not drop the drop the top to hear that glorious naturally aspirated flat-6 sing.

Well, now you can have that open air experience. 1,948 units of the 991.2 Speedster will be built. The production number being a reference to the first Porsche 356.

Almost everything from the Speedster Concept carries over and for those who want more customization Porsche will offer Heritage Design Packages.

The body is from the Carrera 4 with lightweight carbon fiber composite fenders and the chassis is from the GT3. The motor is also from the GT3.

Did you check out those headlights and side mirrors? Gorgeous.

No mention if the PDK makes it over but one assumes it does. Either way we know you can pair a manual to the 500 horsepower naturally aspirated flat-6.

Well done Porsche! Now how much money?

The back looks way too long with the speedster top on it imo. Like everyone else has said the mirrors and headlights are things of beauty.

I'm with you there. I think it would look more elegant as a 718.

Definitely would, a smaller package would look great.
