    • VTG turbo upgrade available for Porsche 718 Cayman/Boxster S & GTS 9A2B4 - TTE580

TTE (The Turbo Engineers Germany) announced they have a VTG (variable turbine geometry) turbocharger upgrade for the 2.5 liter 9A2B4 four-cylinder turbo motor utilized in the 718 Cayman and Boxster S and GTS models.

580 in the name obviously implies 580 horsepower. However, there are no dynographs to corroborate the claim and PorscheBoost is unaware of anyone running the turbo upgrade at this time.

Who will be the first to step up to the plate and try it out?

      • Original BWTS VTG turbocharger as base part
      • TTE Billet Milled TTE compressor 7+7 BLADE
      • TTE High-Flow Low-Mass 9 Blade Turbine
      • Very early response
      • Plug & Play installation (larger turbo intake feed recommended)
      • 580PS Capable
      • Proven TheTurboEngineers quality
      • Single parts finely balanced then components assembled and core high-speed VSR balanced
      • Supplied with a balance test result document
      • Made in Germany

        Or any good tuner.

        The 718 platform is underrated.

That's the real value there. Base 718s are pretty damn reasonably priced.

The base is the way to go as if you ever get so far as to do a motor build you can take it up to 2.5 liters anyway with factory drop in pistons.
