    • E85 tuned Porsche 997.1 Turbo on Tial Sport 68mm VTG's hits 651 all wheel horsepower

Great numbers here from a stock internal Porsche 997.1 3.6 liter Turbo. The Porsche 911 Turbo models did not go to direct injected fuel system until the 997.2 which means tuning for E85 is a bit easier on the port injection fuel system.

Why? It is cheaper and easier to upgrade for the greater flow requirements of ethanol.

      Here is the mod list:

      1. Stock engine
      2. Tial Sport 68mm VTG turbos
      3. Champion Intercoolers
      4. Cobb/ID 1300cc Injectors
      5. IPD Plenum with GT3 TB
      6. Champion Headers
      7. Protomotive E85 Tune
      8. Do88 Intake pipes
      9. BMC Filter
      10. Sachs Stage 3 clutch
      11. GT2 engine mounts
      12. GMG WC-Sport exhaust with 200cell cats

Very nice numbers and a good looking torque curve:

Peak boost pressure is 21.7 psi. To go further comfortably the owner would need to start looking at upgrading the rods but this is a very stout stock internal 997.1 with great turbo response.
