Pretty certain this will destroy pretty much any 720S. IIRC there is one 720S with upgraded turbos around 900hp which would probably be a good race.

        Yep.

The 720S is more efficient though so a 720S doesn't need as much power to be as quick or faster than a 991 Turbo.

Intereting. Wasn't aware that the Syvecs can't control the DCT. Also, the Eventuri intake looks awesome, but appears to still be limited by the restriction in the OEM plastic near the taillights.

Good eye, and you're definitely correct. That's one of the 2 restrictions on the OEM inlets. . Wait until our intakes are out for the 991.1 turbo/S Click here to enlarge

they will also likely be the most inexpensive newly released 911 turbo intake option on the market

This would only destroy a stock 720S in its "e85 kill mode"

Both on 100 octane race gas it would be a race worth watching

Both on 91 octane pump gas it would be destroyed by the 720S

        1) No one cares about racing on 91 that is retarded. His 91 map is just the base safe map if he can't find real fuel.
        2) I doubt highly that a stock 720S running 100 octane will beat this 911 with over 800whp.

Yes the 720S is awesome and weighs a few hundred pounds less than the 911 Turbo but its not unbeatable and you are exaggerating a bit.

        Can't argue with that either.

'Control' depending on your definition maybe not but it can interact and send signals to it. You have more control over what you send than the factory DME.

        (1) Racing on pump gas happens all the time, maybe not to super highly tuned racing only cars, but a car that is daily-able is most definitely raced on pump gas.

        (2) I never said the stock 720S would beat the 807whp Turbo, I said it would be a race worth watching...learn to read

Lol you need to read what you wrote again.

You said, and I quote "This would only destroy a stock 720S in its "e85 kill mode""

Which is 100% bull$#@! and you just admitted it.
I was perfectly civil but you need to learn to read.

I guess our differences lie in the definition of "destroy",I do think the e85 kill mode would destroy a 720S however I do not think the 100octane race mode would destroy a 720S.

Could the turbo beat the 720S? sure its possible and perhaps more likely than not, but I guess I think it would be a lot closer than you do.

I hope that clears up my point of view and for what its worth you can read just fine.

        Here's an ES850 vs. a 720S for some perspective: https://www.boostaddict.com/content....-1-4-mile-runs

A McLaren with upgraded turbos vs. ES850 from a roll: https://www.boostaddict.com/content....-Turbo-S-rolls

I recently watched an es750 putting down 800whp that raced dragtimes 720s and while the turbo definitely won, it was capable of 9.6 @ 146 while the 720s was 9.9 @ 137, it wasnít destroyed.

        I guess thatís all relative.

In the 1/2 mile the turbo may actually destroy the 720s

would really ike to see some Mexican highway roll races too

oops, thanks, looks like with enough road the better power to weight car will always pull ahead, eventually,.

However the 720s is actually close enough still to take advantage of a better launch and win in the 1/4 mile against more powerful 911 Turbos.
