    • Porsche 991.2 Carrera picks up 47 lb-ft at the wheels switching from Cobb OTS to Mach V custom 9A2B6 tune on a Dynojet

This is a perfect example of how a custom or 'pro' tune improves on an OTS (off the shelf) tune. A custom tune is especially important when you have multiple additional modifications as an OTS tune is one size fits all and can not anticipate what modifications each car it is utilized on will have.

This Porsche 991.2 Carrera is equipped with an IPD plenum, BMC intake, Mach V headers, and cat bypass pipes.

The baseline is with the Cobb OTS tune showing a very nice 390 rear wheel horsepower and 416 lb-ft of torque at the wheels:

After the Mach 5 custom tune? Horsepower goes up to 417 and torque increases by 47 lb-ft at the wheels to 463.

That is a major difference in the mid-range and the custom tuned example will be much, much faster.

As for who March V Performance is, they are new to this network but they seem to have various exhaust products for various platforms. We'll take a closer look at them.

Numbers look to be right on point. Would be nice to see OEM baseline. Parasitic loss in dyno looks to be about 10%.
