    • JB4 tuner officially available for Porsche 991.1 and 991.2 Turbo and S models

Our own @Payam@BMS tested the BMS JB4 on his Porsche 991.1 Turbo S and it is safe to say it underwent some intense testing. He beats on his cars hard people. Not only that he took his JB4 tuned 991.1 Turbo S to the 1/2 mile to show what it could really do.

The JB4 works and works well.

It is a simple plug and play install. No hardware needs to be changed, removed, drilled, etc:

Includes several performance maps which can be changed using the optional JB4 Mobile adapter/smart phone app, including JB4 maps for 91 octane, 93 octane, E85 mixtures, and VALET/low boost mode.

Installation is very discrete and it quickly removes without a trace when needed. Fuel economy during normal driving is unchanged. Compatible with all driving modes. Made in USA. 5 year warranty.

Wirelessly connect the JB4 to your Bluetooth 4.0 compatible iOS and Android device via the JB4 Mobile connect kit, or to your Windows laptop with the BMS data cable. Both options allow you to record and analyze vehicle and tuning data, change JB4 performance maps, and update JB4 firmware as we release free newer versions with updates, more powerful maps, and new features under development. Separate JB4 Mobile app purchase also required.
Just take a look at the baseline versus 91 octane tuned results:

Nice gains from just a few psi of boost, right? Now take a look at the numbers with some ethanol splashed in for E40 and an additional 8 psi of boost:

Over 700 lb-ft of torque at all four wheels on the factory turbochargers!

Combine this all with easy installation and easy to change maps including a valet mode and you have a great set of features that can not be beat for the money.

SRM has a Borg Warner EFR setup that makes all the power.

especially with the port injection upgrade....you need to get that adapted for your car pronto.

I think the easy port injection is what made tuning the rs3 for big power so easy, that and it using previously cracked software encryption. However with flash tuning you are over the software hump now you just need FUEL

Sorry if Im being a bit dense but this should work for my 991.2 GTS right?

The beautiful thing is that this is chargepipe port injection. Much easier and cheaper than the traditional PI kits for the 991.1 and 991.2 platform.
No need to drop the motor, swap intake manifolds etc etc. Most people using meth will ditch that and go for this as they already have the 1/8NPT ports on their Y Pipe. Click here to enlarge

Pures will be on very very soon. I'm pulling the stock turbos out this weekend Click here to enlarge

We have our own fabrication and CNC facility Click here to enlarge

I'll eventually go with the G25 660 from garrett for the 1kwhp mark, baby steps first though! The VTG upgrade from pure should yield about 800whp.

Do you know what size pure is making? 68mm? 72mm?

I'm going with the 68mm, not sure what other sizes they offer though.

Absolutely. The addition of port injection can not be overstated.

I'm running meth so I guess if I run out of fuel this is what I go to?

Yup, but you'll just remove the meth kit as this much better and safer. Does the same thing as methanol and raises octane based on the fuel in your tank and will lower your IAT when it starts spraying. It would lower my IAT by 30* at SS/NFZ in the 100* temps.
