    • First 992 Carrera S/4S aftermarket exhaust - Akrapovic titanium

Akrapovic is or at least will be first to the 992 exhaust party with their titanium offering. No doubt there will still be those Porsche loons that state the new turbocharged motors do not sound good which is patently false.

What PorscheBoost wants to see along with the sound clips and weight savings figures from Akrapovic is the dyno. Just how far did Porsche turn the Carrera S motor up in the 992?

Thanks for repost Sticky! We (Scuderia V GmbH) captured it on the next day after first installation of this prototype on a 992 platform in their factory in Slovenia. It's still under development yet and those 3D printed tips are not 100% final design, but let's hope they will keep this conservative design. They also designing couple of other tip options as well as four different types of carbon diffusers. We have a sound clip of it if needed and this car is still using OPF and Cat.
Too bad Akrapovic doesn't tell the audience how much money and time they spend for R&D, how do they produce their own Titanium and Inconel pipes, how huge laboratory they use to check all possible imperfections, how strict is quality control on every production stage, how carefully ladies (they use ladies only for this process because they somehow putting layer by layer carbon in moulds before autoclave much better than guys) working with highest grade of carbon material, how many different versions they test before they choosing the right one (for example, 36! different versions were tested for M4 and only one was chosen for production), and etc. After visiting the factory, we don't understand how they manage to sell that product for so cheap.

Do you know if it will include 200 cell cats and keep, change or get rid of the particle filter? Writing from Sweden... you’re not far away... :-)

They are planning to release even straight pipes, as soon as flash will be released for those cars.
