    • The Turbo Engineers release Porsche 718 Boxster/Cayman 9A2B4 2.0 TTE465 turbocharger upgrade

The Turbo Engineers Germany (TTE) released a new Porsche 718 9A2B4 turbo upgrade. This is not to be confused with their TTE580 Porsche 718 VTG turbo upgrade for the 9A2B4 2.5 liter flat-four in the Porsche 718 Cayman S/GTS and Boxster S/GTS models.

This is for the base 9A2B4 2.0 four-cylinder motor and TTE claims they can get you up to 465 horsepower.

This is a hybrid turbo upgrade:

      • Original turbocharger as the base part
      • TTE Billet Milled 7x7 compressor wheel
      • TTE High-Flow Low-Mass 9 blade Turbine
      • Early boost response
      • 465 PS Capable on 102ron
      • Plug & Play installation
      • Proven TheTurboEngineers quality
      • Single parts finely balanced then components assembled and core high-speed VSR balanced
      • Supplied with a balance test result document
      • Made in Germany

It seems to be priced well at 1527 Euros with a core exchange but in typical TTE fashion no dynographs or supporting evidence of the claimed output or performance is included as proof.

Of course, it is great to see the 718 platform get more turbo upgrade options

If I could, I would. It’s a bit to far to drive and I don’t have another car to get to work on at the moment.
