    • 2021 Porsche 992 GT3 Touring doing Nurburgring testing and sounding amazing

Porsche will again bring back the 911 GT3 touring model with the 992 generation. This model proved popular as not everyone wants the giant rear wing and not everyone will have their GT3 live on the track.

For those who will primarily drive on the street, the GT3 touring model makes a lot of sense. It also offers less drag without the aero package which is something to consider.

Either way you want it Porsche again shows it knows how to maximize variants and squeeze out dollars.

Expect a 4.0 liter naturally aspirated flat-6 revving over 9000 rpm paired to an 8-speed PDK or a manual transmission option.

Listen to that flat-6 scream below!

Love me some GT3s, would be awesome if Porsche introduced this generation with the hybrid drivetrain option first.

Saving that for 992.2. Will be interesting to see how much it pushes down values or if purists reject it.

I may stick with my 991.2 until 992.2 debuts.
