        Congratulations to PorscheBoost Porsche Performance Forums member @8SecDD for raising the bar yet again. This was his record to lose and he improved upon his previous 8.60 @ 173.87 pass from a month ago in his ESMotor ES1200 tuned 991.1 Turbo S.


        The new quickest North American pass and the new world's fastest 991 trap speed came on separate runs:


        What does the 60-130 work out too on these passes? 3.065 seconds.

        Unfortunately, the Vbox readout is a bit low resolution but you should be able to make out the 3.065:

        @Emre@Esmotor tuned this car and dialed some power out to help it hook. They believe there is a bit more in it with some more traction.

        This car basically holds every 991 record including the standing 1/2 mile.

        It seems only the tuning and weather conditions changed from the previous outing:

        The setup is currently stated as being an ES1200 kit on a Syvecs standalone tuned by @Emre@Esmotor. The PDK has upgraded Dodson clutches and DSS provided upgraded axles.

        The fuel system is upgraded and features supplemental methanol injection. AIM Performance provides a titanium exhaust.

        Obviously this is on a built motor.
        This is one of the strongest 911's and the quickest 991 in existence.

          175mph in the 1/4 mile....that’s what people dream of hitting in the 1/2 mile!

          I know, man. I only hit 173mph at my first 1/2 mile event (Ocala WannaGOFAST) less than 2 years ago. Hot-lapped 20 times trying to hit 175mph and blew a turbo! hehe

          Hot tip: Don't hot-lap 1/2 miles more than a few times.

          I cant stop admiring how even being a Porsche, the difficulty to keep that thing in a straight line lol
