    • Gintani 991.2 GT3 RS turbo kit with Tial Sport and Xona Rotor hardware dynos 745 rwhp

      Remember the Gintani 991.2 GT3 turbo kit announced not too long ago with the prototype built on a 991.2 GT3 RS? Well, we finally have some numbers to post and to put it mildly the numbers are impressive.


      745 horsepower at the rear wheels on the Gintani Mustang dyno:


      That output comes a 8819 rpm and they certainly have revved it out further (9500+). This is roughly ~100 more rear wheel horsepower than the BoostAddict Project 991.2 Carrera on the same dyno.

      They state it is making even more power now but what that number is was not shared or published at this time.

      A GT3 with turbos? Yes please...

        Factory bottom end and ECU from what I understand. No word on the cost.

        It's just something people say to act like they know what they are talking about.

        At one time supposedly 11.5:1 was too much for 91 octane and Ferrari is doing 14:1 today.

        Compression ratio is one factor and you don't need as much boost with high compression plus you have much better response. A few psi go a long way.

        Base Carrera. They're still working on it. I'd like to see 700 but the turbos may be close to tapped.
