    • C&D 2020 Porsche 911 (992) Carrera 4S test figures - Curb weight 3518 pounds, 0-60 2.8, 11.1@124 1/4 mile

The 992 just keeps impressing and the latest test figures from Car and Driver for the Porsche 992 Carrera 4S reinforce that statement. You will recall they tested the rear wheel drive Carrera S last year.

The main difference here is all wheel drive. It comes with a weight penalty of 123 pounds.

As you would guess, this costs a mile per hour of trap speed but improves the 0-60 and 1/4 mile elapsed times by 2/10's respectively:

If the C4S is running 11.1 @ 124 what will the 992 Turbo S do with another 200+ horsepower? One has to assume it will be close to that ~140 trap mark.

The only downside here is the weight and the C4S curb weight of 3518 pounds points toward 3600+ pounds for the Turbo.

This car with the Boostaddict turbo package will put down crazy numbers. It’s already 2.8 (with rollout) with only 400whp what will it put down with 268whp more?

I'm surprised how fast it is. It must be the new PDK or some heavy sandbagging. Or both...
