    • 997.2 quicker than 991.1 with bolt ons - 2015 Porsche 991.1 Turbo S goes 10.5@131 with tune and exhaust

We pretty much have the 991.1 Turbo performance potential with bolt ons figured out at this point. The cars run low 10's just above 130 in the 1/4 mile which of course will vary based on conditions, fuel quality, and the tune.

In 1700+ DA this 991.1 Turbo S goes 10.5 @ 131 which is a realistic representation of the everyday capability and it is not a glory run in negative AD.

The 997.2 Turbo model doesn't give up anything to the 991.1 and actually is quicker and faster with bolt ons. The 997.2 models have broken into the the 9's on the stock turbos at over 135 miles per hour.

The 991.2 Turbo S now has larger turbochargers than the standard Turbo whereas the 991.1 Turbo and S models shared the same turbochargers. The 991.2 facelift should bring with it bolt on 9 second performance for the Turbo S.

Hmm....interesting but not totally correct. The 991 tts ran a 9.71 @ 143 mph on stock turbo's. Additionally, it was done on R888's and not slicks.

Ok. I guess I read it wrong. It said stock turbo's so that is what I was hung up on.
On another note, the 918 hit 173.8 at this weekends event. 3000 ft above sea level. Not bad..

Elevation doesn't effect that electric motor. Simply awesome!
