    • Cobb Accessport successfully tested on Porsche 991.2 Turbo, official release in next two weeks

We are roughly two weeks away from the Cobb Accessport for Porsche 991.2 generation 911 models. This is great news as a handheld will make tuning for those in remote areas much easier. However, the ECU does need to still be physically unlocked.

ByDesign recently tested the 991.2 Cobb AP out on a Porsche 911 Turbo. As you can see, initial testing was successful.

After the 991.2 Turbo models 991.2 Carrera 3.0 models will get support.

It remains to be seen what features are incorporated but 991.2 tuning should advance forward considerably with the ability to read and clear codes, log parameters, and change maps.

Just of personal interest, the Cobb AP should also make tuning for the BoostAddict Stage I 9A2 3.0 turbo upgrade far easier especially for those in remote areas.

The product will be tested out on the PorscheBoost Project 991.2 ASAP.

Man, you got me excited there for a minute as I thought they broke through with without bench flashed first. Oh well. Time will come....Wouldn't the Magic folks or whatever the company name is that delivers the solution for F8x get involved with this one Sticky?

Perhaps Sticky has better inside info but according to Sam post on the other forum, other models including 718 should be released same time, or not too many days apart.

He's not wrong 718 support should be right there as it's the same ECU.

They still use that interface? It's better than MyGenius which look like came straight from 80's but still i thought they would make it more up to date or something by now.

Which is 100% accurate. Just as you reported. The Turbo and Turbo S will roll out, then the 3.0L. Gonna be good.

I don't doubt it but need to see some graphs. That dyno is also corrected...
